Your Information, Handled with Care

When you enquire or book, we may collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, contact details, stay dates, guest requirements and booking information.

Payment card details are handled by our payment provider, Stripe. Accommodation availability and reservations are handled through iBex. The Furlong Motel does not use website analytics to collect guest names, email addresses, phone numbers, booking notes or card details.

If you select Accept analytics, Google Analytics measures pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information, referral source, and interactions such as booking, phone and email clicks. Booking-stage events are counted without sending booking references, stay dates, guest counts or payment values.

Google Analytics uses first-party analytics cookies and a pseudonymous client identifier. Advertising storage, advertising user data, Google signals and ad-personalisation signals are disabled. Analytics data retention follows the settings configured for our Google Analytics property and Google's service controls.

Analytics is not loaded when you select Necessary only. You can withdraw permission at any time using Cookie Settings in the footer; this disables measurement and attempts to remove analytics cookies stored for this site.

We use information to answer enquiries, provide accommodation and related services, process bookings and payments, maintain security, meet legal obligations, and improve our website and guest experience.

Information may be processed for us by service providers needed to operate the website and bookings, including Google Analytics, iBex, Stripe, our hosting provider and email services. Some providers may process information outside New Zealand under their own privacy and security terms.

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect guests, the business or our systems.

Providing enquiry information is voluntary, but we may be unable to answer or complete a booking without the details needed for that service.
